Search engine marketing (SEM). Search engines bring your content to the notice of online searchers. (Sometimes by ad, e.g adword)

 Social media Where people from all walks come together to share a common interest.

Display ad etc. Advertizing online, especially  on webpages commanding maximum traffic (many visitors)

It is through these platforms and more that you can present to your audience whatever you have for them. The words are gradually coming together. The value of the definition given to the first, (content) results in the sellability of the second (marketing). And out there lies the third (strategy) to help the preceding two achieve their aims.

Strategy

The sensitivity of the third word (strategy) reflects in every platform designated for it. The “winning thing” that accompanies the whole process of (content marketing) originates here. There is no strategy ritual in content marketing. You only have to-

  1. Know your target audience (the kind of people you are looking for).
  2. Define what they really need.
  3. Outline the best way of giving it to them.

Marketing platform strategies

Strategizing means reviewing your approach time after time, to conform to the wants of your target audience. And that means giving attention to the places where they could be found.

Search engine optimization: the key strategy that will draw searchers to your work is how you use your page meta description. One thing online searchers look out for is the definition of content. Therefore, make a summary of the content in few words, describe your article by highlighting the main points, help searchers to know what your work is all about before they click on it.

Search engine marketing: this version of search engine gives the choice of ad. If you really need to be on top of search results, use the the adword. And you will have no reason to wait, and pray, for better ranking in order to be among top ten in search results.

Social media: in using social media to generate traffic, “target” is the word. Know from the onset who you are looking for, the kind of people who would share your interest, and invite them cordially. You may need to create a page of your own, bearing your “content” as a heading. Although, that depends on the social network platform. However, it is important that you keep the traffic flowing using captivating measures such as jokes.

Display advert: this form of drawing people’s attention cannot be undermined. Every successful webpage serves as a platform to help upcoming ones. Display ads give users of popular websites information about other contents. The more it matters to them the more  your traffic  gets congested.
