In August 2012, Forbes Africa described her as a success and a case study for the business of blogging. She earns over 20 million naira monthly from online advertisement, with thousands of followers on Twitter and Facebook likes. Linda Ikeji’s blog won the best entertainment blog as well as the Nigerian blog of the year in the 2012 Nigerian blogger awards.

Linda’s blog – LindaIkeji.Blogspot.com was declared the Outstanding Blogger of the Year and Best Gossip and Gist Blog in 2014 Media Board Awards.

She was interviewed by BBC in 2012 in London which is a worthy recognition for her efforts and achievement in blogging.

Linda was quoted by CNN in an article about Jaden and Willow Smith’s Interview.  Is that a big deal? Yes it is! Being mentioned by a giant media organization like CNN in not a simple feat. You must be doing something worthy of recognition, good or bad, to be noticed by CNN and the likes.

Recently she won the bid for a designer dress with a whooping 1 million naira. The dress was donated by one of Nigeria’s foremost designers, Lanre Dasilva Ajayi at the 2014 edition of the future awards Africa, held on the 7th December, 2014 at the intercontinental hotels, Victoria Island, Lagos. The dress was donated by LDA to raise funds in order to aid those suffering from the deadly Ebola virus in West Africa.

Linda Ikeji may not have won any recognized international awards but her success as an online entrepreneur is a proof of her hard work, dedication and commitment to making a difference in her world.
