Firstly, You didn’t cook the soil where you put them, secondly, you didn’t take your time to change the vegetables you give them. Thirdly, you didn’t take your time to water them the way you water flowers. Snails are vegetarians and they need a lot of water. Fourthly, you didn’t check out for worms and insects where they are.

Forget the fact that they already have where they buy from, your potential customers will always come and buy from you because egg business is lucrative and they are lesser supplier and more consumers. Even if you have 1million crates of eggs everyday. It won’t be enough for your customers to buy. All you need is to meet sellers and tell them you are a distributor or you have a poultry. That’s all you need, sit back after this and see how people troop in to your farm. You can invest in my poultry if you want to… We need potential investors in our farm…

The best place to get them, no matter the quantity you want is Genye Market in Yola, Adamawa State. That’s where I know you can get any quantity you want and they have all the local crops, but you can specify the type you want and I will tell you more locations.

It does not cost a dime, I suggest you enter a bush to pick snails after a rain fall as the once sold in the market may not survive if you buy them to rare.

Hi Bridget, I suggest you make enquires in the market, meet with people in the business already in order to get it. Else, I advice you travel to Ghana or Benin Rep to get it, Nigeria have a lot of restrictions on UK used clothes, for that reason, its more expensive to buy from UK straight to Nigeria.

Hi Ahanotu, am certainly not the admin nor the owner of this website/blog. Haven rared snail for couple of months now, its something one can invest on due to the high demand. However, the growth of snail isn’t as it may be heard on snail. It requires no capital. All you need is get the snails available. Dig a ground like a grave, at least 2feet deep, worm the soil, put your snails, cover the top with a barb wire to avoid escaping. I will put more writing, just send me a mail and I will find more time to respond. aridedon@yahoo.com..com

Hi Esther, since you have secured a shop, you can start with 16,000 depending on your location, although, growth is constant in any business, you will increase gradually. You can look out for people who are already in the business, you can buy from them and resale in your location as 16000NGN won’t be able to buy a bail for you. Also, adding water and some other things in your location of business solely depend on you, if you want to add any other thing, its up to you. 3rdly, the area you are will determine what you can sale more, you can sale female leggings, male and female trousers for children and adults, tops too but don’t make the mistake of buying gowns cause the market for gown is very slow.

The choice will be made best by you, however you can learn tailoring, the demand is high and a lot of people now prefers native wears over the jeans and polo, or you could go learn how to make furniture. This is another trending business a lot of people derive joy from doing, learn any of these, its good.

It all depends on what you have at hand, and how big you would want to start. If you want to start with 10goats, you can prepare 100k + in order to purchase the goats you need. Then for the maize, it does not cost much, get your maize available, prepare your land, depends on the size of the land, you can get an acre or 2. Get your manure available and you are ready. Contact me for quicker response in case I don’t respond earlier here aridedon@yahoo.com

You don’t need to register, mostly if you are in Asaba precisely or any location you may be, there is no registration required. All you need as a newbie is your capital, if you are buying in large quantity, from 100 and above, Dangote supplies to you at their own expenses through their states depot.

Just locate their depot along Asaba Express way, make an order and tell them the quantity you need, they will supply to you. a bag cost about 2700 and you can sale for 2800 or 2850, depending on what you bargain with your customers. You don’t pay for delivery but you will pay for offloading when it is being delivered to your shop/office.

I am into the business, both cattle, Ram and goats. You can buy a good goat which is sold in Eastern, Western and Southern states for about 18k and 20k from the North for 9k, 10k, 11k, 12k. No matter how cheap you get it, the major expenses you will make is Transportation.  Feel free to contact me for more advice as I may not know when you may respond back here.
