This is a nice idea…. because car tires are everywhere.  Not all recycling requires a machine or a sophisticated equipment to carry out. There are some cool stuffs you could be creative about. Tyres are strong and reliable.

Tire recycling or rubber recycling is the process of recycling vehicles’ tires (or tyres) that are no longer suitable for use on vehicles due to wear or irreparable damage (such as punctures). These tires are among the largest and most problematic sources of waste, due to the large volume produced and their durability

While some of these old tires are remanufactured into new tires, others are used in a wide variety of applications including railroad ties, rubber-modified asphalt, athletic surfaces, insulation, plastic/rubber blends used in a variety of products, even fuel.

There are also some petty things you could make out of it.

Flower phase, playing ground hawk, tables, etc… let me show you some pictures of things made out of Car tyres.

Thank you Apeiron, you literally gave us huge business ideas to work on. Who could think such business ideas exist in used tires? And we have it all over the place wasting away while many are being set ablaze.

I like the Table and chairs version as well as the children’s swings. But where can one learn the design process or do we just try and be creative and use our own initiatives?

        Than you

Mr Dalinton… Thanks for that and also about the question. I don’t know anyone who could train people about that. But am sure with creativity and dedication, anyone could make something cool like those or even more than those above.

Human ability is limitless. One person could take this up in Nigeria and in years to come, he might start training people on how to make things happens. Making money and helping the community to train people to make money also.

Our own initiative is the key. There is always a beginning to everything. And what would make this stand out is that those tyres are very strong. They can withstand anything.
