One of the things that could be responsible for the death is ant. Make sure soldier ants aren’t gaining access to your pen. Again, make sure they are not overly crowded as that may result to starvation to some. Make sure you are giving them fresh foods and changing the wastes from time to time.
Also, it is important to separate the matured ones from the pen from time to time. What kind of foods are you giving them?
i do give them okro leave, pawpa leave, cocoyam leave, eba, bananna pile, water melon piles, cummuber and amala
i learnt that i need to seperate the big ones from the small ones which have already done that, but about the spacing i need more information on that . Am not fully knowledgeable about the spacing requirement. please do share more light on that part for me
The Amala and Eba you are giving them, are you 100% sure of the content? Those may be the sources of their predicament. Make sure you are not feeding them in a jam packed condition as some may not be able to get enough food if they are too many feeding at once.
